To Our Patients,

We understand and deeply respect that you may be concerned about coronavirus in public places, even at our state-of-the-art sterilized office.

Our first priority is always the health and well-being of our patients. And that is a priority we take extremely seriously, even with the current disruptions we’re all experiencing.

It has been a very difficult decision, but we have decided that it is in the best interest of our community, our team, and our patients that we not see regular patients until at least Monday, April 6, 2020.

If you do have a dental emergency, we are here and will be here and happy to help you. Please call us at 603-546-7460.

This is just one more way that we can show our high level of care for you … and for everyone in our community. We very much look forward to seeing you, your family, and your friends very soon.

As always, if you have any questions, please call our office at 603-546-7460.

Sincerely,
Dr. James Kiehl

3 Advantages Of All-On-4 Dental Implants

September 27, 2017

Dentures are a great restorative dentistry option that have been used in some form or another for hundreds of years, but many patients understandably worry about them coming loose. If you want to replace your teeth without the drawbacks of dentures, call Nashua Family Dentistry at 603-546-7460 to find out if All-on-4 dental implants are a good option for you!

With the help of our highly-skilled team, Dr. James E. Kiehl can place and restore a variety of dental implants at our Nashua, NH dentist office. Whether you want to restore all the teeth in your upper or lower jaw or both, we have you covered!

Compared to other tooth replacement options like traditional dentures, dental implants provide some serious perks because they can:

  • Restore your chewing power to up to 90 percent of what it was with your natural teeth
  • Last for decades or even the rest of your life with proper oral hygiene and routine dental cleanings and exams
  • Feel, look, and function so convincingly that you may just forget they are replacement teeth
  • Help to prevent jawbone deterioration so you can avoid a “sunken in” look and maintain your youthful appearance

Ask about our dental implant roadmap special if you’re interested in dental implants of any kind!

Now you may be thinking, “But that’s four advantages, not three!” Well, we haven’t even gotten to the three advantages we’ll be focusing on today. Consider those four a bonus.

Treat Yourself To The Many Perks Of All-On-4 Dental Implants

Remember what it felt like to bite into a juicy steak or fresh corn on the cob without having to worry about your dentures coming loose? Or perhaps you’re tired of feeling left out when friends or family want to go out to that great new restaurant and you have to decide if you’re going to settle for soup again just so you won’t have to cross your fingers your denture adhesive will stay.

Along with allowing you to have peace of mind regarding your full-arch tooth replacement staying where it should, All-on-4 dental implants also allow you to taste and enjoy food better! Unlike traditional dentures that cover the roof of your mouth (for better suction), All-on-4 dental implants allow your palate to be uncovered. This may not seem like a big deal, but this will allow you to savor your meals more and better appreciate the textures of your food.

Because your All-on-4 dental implants will be held firmly in place by your sturdy dental implants, you won’t have to put up with messy denture adhesives! Instead of taking out your replacement teeth for cleaning like you would with dentures, you’ll just need to brush twice a day and floss daily just like with your natural teeth.

You’ll be able to throw your messy denture adhesive away and keep your teeth clean more easily. But also, you won’t have to put up with a subtle but noticeable flavor from your denture adhesive ruining your favorite foods.

The third advantage of All-on-4 dental implants that we’ll focus on here is that there are less dental implants needed to keep them in place compared to other options. Each All-on-4 dental implant restoration requires (you guessed it) only four dental implants – two near the front of the jaw and two near the back at an angle to better distribute pressure.

If the advantages of only needing four dental implants to place a full arch are not obvious to you, there are a few worth mentioning here. For one thing, compared to other full arch tooth replacements that use more dental implants, your jaw will heal much faster. Your procedure itself will also go by faster. In many cases, an All-on-4 dental implant will also be more affordable!

To ensure your treatment is as comfortable and precise as possible, we have invested in some of the most top notch dental technology available. We’ll use a variety of tools to plan and perform your dental implant placement, including digital X-rays and a cone beam CT scanner to get highly detailed images of your mouth and jaw quickly.

If you have any questions, just let us know! We can even show you what we’re talking about with our in-house intraoral camera, which allows you to follow along as we examine your teeth and mouth.

Say hello to your new and improved smile with All-on-4 dental implants! To schedule your private consultation, call Nashua Family Dentistry at 603-546-7460. You can also use our handy online form to book or ask us questions.

An amazing dentist, with a staff full of people who genuinely care about you. My most recent experience, I forgot to have a very important form filled out (requirement for those in the NG) and they went through HOOPS to get my form filled out and returned to me. I can’t recommend them enough!
