To Our Patients,

We understand and deeply respect that you may be concerned about coronavirus in public places, even at our state-of-the-art sterilized office.

Our first priority is always the health and well-being of our patients. And that is a priority we take extremely seriously, even with the current disruptions we’re all experiencing.

It has been a very difficult decision, but we have decided that it is in the best interest of our community, our team, and our patients that we not see regular patients until at least Monday, April 6, 2020.

If you do have a dental emergency, we are here and will be here and happy to help you. Please call us at 603-546-7460.

This is just one more way that we can show our high level of care for you … and for everyone in our community. We very much look forward to seeing you, your family, and your friends very soon.

As always, if you have any questions, please call our office at 603-546-7460.

Sincerely,
Dr. James Kiehl

Enjoy No Dietary Restrictions With Dental Implants

April 21, 2018
Dental Implants vs Dental Bridges | Nashua Family Dentistry

Just because you have to replace some or even all of your teeth doesn’t mean you have to drastically change your diet for the foreseeable future. If you’d like to get the next best thing to your natural teeth in terms of function, call Nashua Family Dentistry at 603-546-7460 to book a consultation for real-fell dental implants!

We offer the general dental cleanings and exams that you’d expect from most dentists, but we can also help you regain your full oral function with convincing tooth replacement options at our Nashua, NH dentist office. We can attach various restorative dentistry solutions to dental implants, including:

  • Dental crowns that can fill the gap left by an individual tooth
  • Dental bridges that can replace multiple adjacent missing teeth
  • Dentures that can replace all the teeth in your upper jaw, lower jaw, or both for a full-mouth reconstruction
  • Full-arch restorations that can restore all the teeth in either or both of your jaws
  • A same-day smile service where we place implants in your mouth and give you back a full mouth of teeth in the same visit

Compared to other restorative treatments that completely replace teeth, implants offer many advantages because they:

  • Do not require any preparation of healthy teeth that surround the damaged or missing teeth we will replace
  • Can last a very long time – even your whole lifetime – with proper oral hygiene at home and routine check-ups
  • Look, feel, and work just like your natural chompers
  • Help to prevent jawbone deterioration, which will not only maintain your jaw health but also help you look younger for longer

Partially because dental insurance plans don’t typically cover the cost of implants, we accept a variety of payment options, including third-party financing through CareCredit, Lending Club, and Compassionate Finance.

We also open every weekday at 8:00 a.m. so you can squeeze in a consultation and maybe more before you have to arrive at work for the day.

Eat The Foods You Love Again With Dental Implants

If you currently have dentures or know someone who has them, you are probably aware that your diet can be pretty significantly changed by these otherwise great restorative treatments. The same can be true for other dental treatments as well.

But if you get implants from our Nashua, NH dentist office, you won’t ever have to worry about your teeth slipping out or coming loose. This is due in part to a process called “osseointegration,” which is just a fancy term for how the titanium posts of dental implants naturally fuse to your jawbone after they are placed.

Because jawbone grows around and encases implants, they provide a sturdy foundation for replacement teeth. You won’t ever have to deal with messy and disappointing dental adhesives again!

Instead of having to avoid sticky, crunchy, chewy, or difficult-to-chew foods, you’ll be able to eat a balanced diet and enjoy some of the items you’ve probably missed most.

For example, you’ll be able to take a bite of a juicy steak without having to worry whether or not your teeth will stay in place while you chew. Crunchy apples, fresh corn-on-the-cob, and even chewy bagels will also be back on the menu if you choose!

When you go to a restaurant with family and/or friends, you won’t ever have to compromise and get the soup when you really want the barbecue sandwich. Dietary freedom is great, but that’s another thing you should keep in mind when considering implants from your dentist: you’ll feel included and won’t have to worry about false teeth holding you back from what you want.

Regardless of which treatment for implants you get from our restorative dentists, we will do everything we can to put you at ease when you’re in our care. Our friendly team will greet you warmly and listen intently to your smile goals and concerns so we can deliver the most patient-centered experience possible.

Not only will we numb your mouth before placing dental implants, we’ll also provide various comfort options to relax you as well, including:

  • Soft pillows
  • Warm blankets
  • Soothing music to calm your nerves

If you are anxious or just want some added comfort, we also give you the option of using some dental sedation to help relieve your dental anxiety.

Say hello to your new smile and regain your dietary freedom with dental implants from Nashua Family Dentistry. Call 603-546-7460. You can also use our online form or swing by our office in person to schedule or ask questions.

An amazing dentist, with a staff full of people who genuinely care about you. My most recent experience, I forgot to have a very important form filled out (requirement for those in the NG) and they went through HOOPS to get my form filled out and returned to me. I can’t recommend them enough!
