Patients who come to us asking, or we see them over the years who've basically had a lot of restoration, to the point where we really can't, again, refill those teeth anymore, oftentimes they're thinking of, "How do we restore our bite? How do we restore our function back to what it was years ago?" They may be having trouble eating, they may be having pain in certain areas, they may be missing multiple teeth. Oftentimes we're able to restore their full mouth, either by utilizing the teeth to support crowns, and bridges, and things like that to restore their teeth back to original function, or sometimes we use those in a combination with dental implants, again to do the same thing.
What's really cool today is some patients who maybe have teeth we can't use to restore restorations on, we're able to restore a full arch of implants, or a full arch of teeth rather on five or six implants, so it's a big advantage for people who couldn't otherwise have that type of restoration.
You’ll be in excellent hands for your smile makeover, thanks to our three doctors’ extensive training and experience with restorative dentistry. For instance:
- Dr. James Kiehl is a member of the American Society of Implant & Reconstructive Dentistry, an organization that focuses on the standards of dental implant placement and restoration procedures.
- Dr. Stephen Cohen participates in the prestigious Spear Education program.

Dental Implants and Other Options for a Full-Mouth Reconstruction
If you’ve got missing teeth, we’ve got lots of tooth replacement options, including dental implants. They look, feel, and function like your natural teeth. And they can be used with a variety of dental restorations, including dental crowns to replace a single tooth or dentures to replace an entire mouth of teeth.
Thanks to his training in implantology, Dr. Kiehl can perform dental implant procedures that let you receive your replacement teeth on the same day you get your dental implants. No more trying to function without teeth while you wait for dentures or other replacement teeth!
Our same-day implant options include:
- Full-arch hybrid restorations. Using these procedures, we can attach a full arch of nonremovable replacement teeth using as few as four dental implants. One of the biggest benefits of this technique is it leaves the roof of your mouth exposed, so you can more easily taste and enjoy your food than with dentures.
- Same-day smile. With this technique, we use a special process to place your dental implants and then immediately attach a load-bearing denture to the implants. Thanks to our computer-guided technology, we know exactly where to place each implant, so they can support your new dentures and help you heal quickly.
If none of these procedures is right for you, you can also get dental bridges, dental crowns, dental implant dentures, or traditional dentures, either partial or full.
No matter which tooth replacement option you choose, you’ll be amazed at how much better you’ll feel – and look – after a full-mouth reconstruction! Call Nashua Family Dentistry at 603-546-7460 or use our online form to schedule a full-mouth reconstruction consultation.
