Most of the time again based on the patient's comfort,. If they're not feeling too anxious about the procedure we're able to just give them some local anesthesia. We go ahead and remove the tooth very simply and you know they're on their way. For some patients who require a little bit more, again we have some sedation options we give them you know a pill to take prior to coming in. Or in some cases you know refer them to a surgeon who can give us some Intravenous sedation. But most tooth extractions can be done fairly comfortably right here. Very comfortably right here with just local anesthesia.
Dental Technology Eases Extraction
Without complications, tooth extractions are typically quick procedure. And we minimize the chances of complications by using dental technology that gives us a complete view of your teeth and mouth.
With our cone beam CT scanner, for example, we can view your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bone in a single scan. So we can avoid nerve endings when we remove your tooth.
Keeping You Comfortable During Tooth Extractions
Your comfort is a top priority for our caring team. We’ll talk to you about what we can do to ensure your comfort, then do our best to accommodate you. We can often offer a longer appointment time, for example.
We thoroughly numb your mouth with a local anesthetic so you won’t feel a thing!
We also offer amenities including:
- Headphones so you can listen to music during your procedure
- Soft blankets and pillows
And to completely relax you during your tooth removal/tooth extractions in Nashua, NH, you can get dental sedation.
