I’ve been going here since I was about 12. Ever since I really can remember going to the dentist. Just cleanings, things like that. It’s really friendly. Every time I walk in, they’re super nice, super helpful. I don’t really have to wait in line for anything. I come in, they just tell me what I need to do and they have me seated. I’m usually seen within five to ten minutes so I don’t have to wait that long.
Aside from inside, they usually follow-up usually a day or two before my appointment. They usually send out a text reminder, email reminder, letting me know because I have such a busy schedule. I’m working, I’m in school. Just to make sure I’m not going to miss my appointment, they always follow up so it’s really helpful.
Dr. Kiehl, he’s awesome. He’s always, I mean aside from the typical dentistry stuff, he asks a lot of personal questions. Just how’s school, how’s work and what I’m doing. It’s not really just come in, touch my teeth, and kick me out. It’s really friendly.
Unfortunately, I’ve gotten a couple of fillings, more than I would like. I really don’t like being numb. I really don’t like a needle being put in my gum. I think one time he used a gel, which was helpful, but he usually goes through everything he’s going to do before he does it and tells me. He’ll go about doing it the most comfortable way. I think I’ve been numb two or three times here. Every time, that’s probably my least favorite part of coming to the dentist is having a numb jaw for half the day. Usually it lasts for a couple of hours obviously. He doesn’t numb my whole face so he does a really good job at really honing in at what part that he’s working on so that’s I think really helpful.
It’s not your normal dentist’s office. It’s different than most places. It’s comfortable. It’s friendly.
